Christ UMC has been worshipping with the people of Rockford since 1956. Since then, we've grown an array of ministries for children, youth, adults, and families to gather, grow, and go together to love and serve Jesus Christ, our community, and the world beyond.

Spring Cleanup Day
May 3 from
9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Help us rake, weed, and spruce up our church campus! Sign up this Sunday in Fellowship Hall or outside of the Dining Room to join us for all of part of the day. Feel free to bring your own rake and gloves. Lunch will be provided by the United Women in Faith.

MELD Baby Shower
May 4
MELD’s mission is “guiding young parents to build a strong family and lead a respectable life by providing shelter, education, and life skills training.” MELD would appreciate your donations of new baby supplies: wipes, disposable diapers, baby lotion and shampoo, and new or gently used items such as infant/toddler clothing, blankets, high chairs, playpens, car seats, bathtubs, and strollers. Cake and punch will be served after both services.

Healing Service
May 4 at 3:00 pm
This special service will be held in the dining room (door #6) for anyone suffering from physical, mental, or emotional pain who desires prayer. Come experience comfort and the healing presence of Jesus.

Vacation Bible School
June 23-27 from

Join us this June for Vacation Bible School at Christ UMC! We’ll embark on an exciting journey with the theme “Road Trip”, based on Joshua 1:9 – "The LORD your God is with you wherever you go."
