Lenten Study

Simon Peter: Flawed but Faithful Disciple by Adam Hamilton

Simon Peter was an ordinary fisherman who heard an extraordinary call.

Simon Peter left everything to follow his teacher and possessed a passion that would change the world.  He was also: poor, uneducated, quick-tempered, and full of doubts and fears.  It doesn’t even sound like the same person, and that’s the point.  Simon Peter was just an ordinary guy who heard and followed God’s extraordinary call.

In this 6 week Lenten study on Simon Peter we’ll learn Peter’s story and  learn how you too have special gifts, talents that God can use.

Classes will meet on:

Wednesday evenings, beginning March 13 at 6:00 p.m. at the Alpine Campus in the Alpine Dining Room

Thursday mornings, beginning March 14 at 9:30 a.m. at the Our Master’s Campus in the Coffee Room.

This class will be a video-based study that will be enhanced by participants reading the book, but it is not required to be a part of the class.

The book can be purchased at Cokesbury, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble (ISBN:9871501845987).  It's available in hardcover, paperback and electronic versions.

Sign ups begin at the Connection Center at both Centers on February 10.
