High School- Salt


  • The High School youth group is for youth in 9th-12th grades. The High School-SALT group meets from September-May every Sunday night from 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.  All Sunday night youth gatherings are held at Christ United Methodist Church- Alpine Center. 



We emphasize fun, fellowship and learning about Jesus and how to walk with him in faith. We do this through a mix of curriculum, video and stories. We then process what we learn in a small group setting with an adult leader and other students. We also have movie nights, bake sales and outside activities throughout the school year and summer.  CLICK  for the registration form.

 



High School- SPECIAL EVENTS

There are many special events for the High School youth members. 


WorkCamp- Every year in July, we hold a week long Senior High WorkCamp in a different city around the United States.  We stay in the local community and work on a wide array of projects from building wheelchair ramps to painting to putting up drywall.  It's an awesome experience for the kids to get out of their comfort zones and experience what life is like in a different city.  This is a Christ United Methodist Church tradition that involves the entire congregation. Your high school student will greatly benefit from the lessons learned at Summer WorkCamp! 



Dinner Theater-  Dinner theater is a meal and theater combo fundraiser is held every winter to raise funds for the Summer WorkCamp Program.  It's a time for our talented kids to perform for the church and the congregation to come out at support them.  We have hundreds of church members that come out each year to this event!
