The dictionary definition of hospitality is the friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors or strangers.  That's about sums it up perfectly.  Except there are so many ways to be hospitable to others on behalf of Christ United Methodist Church.  If you like to be out front holding the door, we need you.  But if you're shy and like to be in the background, there is definitely a way you can shine a warm welcome onto our guests, too.  Read below to find out the all the different ways you can welcome others to our church home.

  • behind the scenes

    There are some behind the scenes roles that are important in shaping a person's first impression of our church.  We need volunteers to help maintain the  church grounds and worship centers.  There are also ways to help during on Sundays as communion servers and ushers.  If you want to find out how you can serve others by making sure every welcome is a warm one, please email the church at info@christumc.cc.

  • audio visual production team

    Unleash your creative side with the opportunities to shoot, create and edit video for the church.  There are things to do for everyone's skill level, including those who want to learn how it's done!  The church will help you learn the basics of video and sound production. volunteers make short videos to use on the church's website and social media pages.  If you're interested in being apart of our AV Production Team, please contact  info@christumc.cc. 

  • CHURCH SERVICE PRODUCTION TEAM

    You'll notice we incorporate a lot of technology into our church services. From the microphones our pastors use to the projector screen that guides our members through the worship service, we have a lot going on.  That's why volunteers are a huge asset in this role.  If you're a techie, or want to become one, we provide training on our sound board and media computer for our projector.  Just bring your desire to learn and we'll do the rest.  If you're interested in learning our sound board and sound equipment, please contact Jody Warren at jwarren@christumc.cc. 

  • Photography

    Looking for a way to use your photography skills?! We need people willing to photograph events in the life of the church. Commitment varies depending on your availability.
