"Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Indeed, by faith our ancestors received approval. By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word by God, so that what is seen was made from things that are not visible." Hebrews 11:1-3

PURPOSE
Helping men to grow in Christ so others can know Christ.
United Methodist Men shall be a creative, supportive fellowship of men who seek to know Jesus Christ, to grow spiritually and to seek His will daily.
-
Ministry to men
The General Commission on Men exists to declare the centrality of Christ in every man's life. Men's ministry leads to the spiritual growth of men and effective discipleship. This purpose is served as men are called to model the servant leadership of Jesus Christ.

Missions
The following missions are endorsed by the Northern Illinois Conference United Methodist Men. All members of the Conference are invited to join us in the support of these missions:
Strength of Service - The book first published in 1942 is a pocket-sized daily devotional with meditations for every day of the year for men to read individually and together.
Society of St. Andrew - It's a grassroots, faith-based hunger relief nonprofit working to bridge the hunger gap with the estimated 96 billion pounds of food waster every year. We rely on support from donors, volunteers and farmers.
