Christ UMC has been worshipping with the people of Rockford since 1956. Since then, we've grown an array of ministries for children, youth, adults, and families to gather, grow, and go together to love and serve Jesus Christ, our community, and the world beyond.

  • We're Hiring:

    Accounting Manager

    Christ UMC is looking for a part-time (25-30 hrs/week) Accounting Manager to join our team. The Accounting Manager is responsible for keeping records of and processing all church financial transactions according to standard approved accounting practices.   • The Chosen Watch Parties

    Join us for watch parties of the second season of The Chosen in the Coffee House (door #5) from 5:30-7:00 pm on Wednesdays, July 31, August 14, 21, and 28.

    Come for movie snacks and good discussion. All are welcome and there is no cost!

    CUMC is looking for volunteers to help us host the Midwest Methodist Foundation's annual Stewardship Workshop. See how you can help HERE.

  • Prayer Olympics

    August 16-17

    Christ UMC’s Prayer Olympics will take place from Friday, August 16 (3:00 pm) to Saturday, August 17 (3:00 pm). Let’s win a gold medal for God and fill up all spots to cover 24 hours of prayer for our church!
